✨ Your scalp is begging for a soothing yet stimulating moment where it feels restored, renewed, and refreshed.
In today's day and age, a change in our bodies behavior can trigger the idea that we need a major lifestyle overhaul. But sometimes, our bodies simply need a gentle reset—especially our scalp and hair, which carry so much of our stress, environment, and emotions. Today’s DIY is just that—soul-soothing, quick, and powerfully restorative.
This herbal rinse is made by infusing raw apple cider vinegar with freshly dried nettle & calendula—two powerhouse plants gifted by God’s creation. Nettle is rich in vitamins and minerals that stimulate and nourish the scalp, while calendula is deeply calming, reducing inflammation and promoting healing. When paired with raw ACV, they create a powerful rinse that gently cleanses the scalp, supports healthy hair growth, and leaves your strands refreshed and soft.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25
🌿 What You’ll Need:
1 tbsp freshly dried nettle
1 tbsp freshly dried calendula flowers
1 cup hot water
2 tbsp raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
💡 Freshly dried herbs matter. They’re more potent, pure, and full of the goodness your scalp craves. Skip the hobby shop herbs and use quality ones you can trust.
🛠️ Quick Infusion Instructions:
Steep nettle and calendula in 1 cup of hot water for 15 minutes (cover while steeping).
Strain the herbs and let the liquid cool slightly.
Add 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar to the cooled herbal tea.
Pour over clean, damp hair as a final rinse. Gently massage into the scalp and let it sit for 5–10 minutes before rinsing—or leave it in if desired.
That’s it y'all! A healing touch for your hair, your heart, and your busy day.
🌼 This simple act of care is a sacred moment just for you. Let God meet you there—in the quiet, in the steam, in the scent of calendula & nettle, reminding you that even in chaos, there is healing.
Until the next post - Be Well.
With Love & Healing Prayers,
Wynter Michelle
